• The ‘micro weft’ technology: This is a modern version of a traditional African briad system. This system is very popular with Hollywood celebrities. Here’s how it works. We take a small section of your own hair in the interior section of your head, skillfully African scalp braid or ‘cornrow’ it across your scalp, and then sew with very special waterproof and chemically resistant thread a very discreet ‘weft’ or curtain of hair to this braid. It will NOT fall out, but it will loosen as your natural hair grows and the braid becomes further away from your scalp. When the weft becomes around an inch away from your scalp, it’s time to retighten. To do this we snip the thread that attaches the weft to the braid, brush out the braid, re-braid it tightly to your scalp again, sew the same weft back on, and away you go! You will need to replace the weft around every 12 months, depending on how well you look after your hair. This system is very suitable for most hair types, and virtually undetectable. Easy to manage, easy to apply and quick to take out!
